Legal Defense / Offense Donation

I retained an attorney yesterday and it cost me $1500. The character who is trying to bully me with the legal system is very happy that I’m spending money. He told me that on the phone. He thinks I don’t have any money to defend myself and I will simply fold. Well, its true I don’t have money as I’m not making any more advertising dollars and the little I have saved is keeping me going until I find a job.

However, I refused to be bullied and taken advantage of. So I scraped up enough for a defense. If you would like to donate towards my defense, feel free to use the button above. If you want to send money to my attorney directly, feel free to contact me and I’ll give you a way to do that.

A good defense is a strong offense…

After talking to my lawyer about all this stuff this character has done, we have found plenty of standing to counter sue this guy. I’m not going to say more about it at this time. However, I hate to do that, so I’m still offering this character a chance to walk away in peace. I just want to be left alone so I can finish closing this blog down, selling the domain and using the money for good things, like paying my wife’s credit cards and hiring a criminal attorney to keep me out of MUCH BIGGER trouble.

Notice how I don’t mention this character’s name. The reason for his Ex Parte and TRO was because I used his full first and last name on my blog. After I found that out I took down those posts. I even added his last name to my badwords list so any mention of his last name gets replaced with *** in the comments. I’ve done everything I can from my side to show good faith. Would this character have asked me to do that I would have done it without any kind of legal action.

But he didn’t even ASK! When we had our original falling out he thratened legal action to take down his GUEST POST which had only his ALIAS in there, no real name, I took it down RIGHT AWAY. So this guys has a history of bullying, even though I cooperate with people right away.

All I want is to be left alone. Out of the three characters, Marty his been the most reasonable, Duane has been somewhat reasonable too in that he doesn’t directly bully me or manipulate me. His involvement in my marriage is something I really hate. But he DID help my wife out in some ways when I left to Australia. So I appreciate that. I think Duane cannot be trusted with any information. I hate his tactics but I respect him as a person (or at least i’m TRYING to).

Mark is beyond words. I’m actually starting to HATE him. And if you know me, I don’t hate anybody or wish ill will on anybody. But when people are bullying you for no other reason than pride and to make a name in the hater community, thats too much. Most of us know that the BS “settlement” (see my explanation) is just a big circus and it was his idea to use the “settlement” to accomplish my purpose. I don’t want to use his tricks anymore because its manipulative. I’m still looking to accomplish my goals though (shutting down, job, paying my wife’s credit cards, etc). However this guy is getting in the way and trying to KEEP me from doing that.

So if you’re as pissed off as I am at this circus, feel free to donate. All the money will go towards putting this guy away and any excess will go to my other defense fund or you can tell me what to do with it. I’m very flexible and appreciate your help.

  • Casey,

I’m sorry you have to learn the hard way how expensive justice can be these days.

    Good luck with your defense.

  • Hi Casey,

Congratulations on getting a lawyer to take care of markie.

  • Also, I am very broke this month, but by early next month I should have some $, so I will donate something to you then, as I believe in you and what you are doing. Best wishes to you and may the characters receive what they deserve.

Hiring a lawyer is the smartest decision you have ever made.

It’s about time you got a lawyer!

Now counter sue his a** and watch him FOLD!!!

  • Serious, that guy is a jerk. But, I don’t see why his legal actions are stopping you from shutting down the website (which I don’t think you should do).

But, I’d like to get an update of where you stand financially. Do you know? I’m tired of the drama. I want to see where your financial situation is and how your working to get out of it. If you can get out of it.

Anyhow, you update the spreadsheet and post it and I’ll donate. Deal?

    “Notice how I don’t mention this character’s name….”

    “Mark is beyond words.”

    Sweet.

  • Details on the Phoenix trip?

  • So this is a legal defense begathon? The last time you did a begathon you were dishonest about it. IIRC, it was the day before you bought some penny stock and went to phoenix.

What did the lawyer say about the “BS” settlement agreement?

  • This has come a long way from, “look at the items I carry in my murse.” While it may be tough on you, your readers appreciate the continued entertainment.

  • What kind of guarantee do we have that the money will actually go towards your defense and not towards, say, you packing your bags and fleeing the country?

Hey looserboy… you’ve defaulted on millions in loans. Why does this silly internet poseur even rank on your radar?

Let him win. Default on him along with the other millions in BK court. Hate to break the news to you bubbles but there’s simply no way you’re going to hold down a W2 job without getting garnished… until you file for BK. You think everything is quiet now, they can’t squeeze blood from a stone. But a paycheck is very squeezable.

I’d be spending my legal monies on a good BK lawyer right now, ah but that’s what Marky Mark is trying to do. Keep you from declaring BK because you can’t get his judgement tossed until his judgement is rendered. He’s holding you back snowflake, and you let him.

  • i don’t want to donate to your defense but i’ll gladly donate to his. is there a button i can click on to make a direct donation to him. if you’re so desperate for money casey and you don’t want to get a job why don’t you invest in a tin cup and hang out on the corner?

  • Is this the start of the Mother of All beg-athons? Also, is this lawyer also going to work out that pesky traffic ticket that you never paid?

  • As an addendum to my above comment, I know that you’re giving people the option to pay your attorney directly (but they must “contact you” for the details), but the money that you receive via your conspicuous PayPal link comes with no such guarantees.

Since you seem to have somewhat of a history of being evasive about where you get the money to pay for certain things, who’s to say that you won’t use some of the PayPal’d money for things other than your defense?

  • can I donate and then change my mind and say “NO DEAL”??

  • How did the job opportunity go?

  • First! Murst! Whatever!!

  • Casey - this ‘other’ person is nothing other than a bill collector; you have to treat them as you would any other bully - fight!

    1. You will never close the blog voluntarily
    2. You will never sell it. The only legitimate offer you ever had, or will ever get, you acceped then welshed (as usual).
    3. You will never follow your lawyer’s advice
    4. He won’t be representing you 10 days from now.
    5. You will never have a W2 job that will last longer than 7 days.

Ho boy, now that you got yourself an ambulance chaser old Mark must be shaking in his boots.

    Casey, you’re a hoot.

  • Congratulations, best decision you’ve made in 9 months.

  • If I’m going to donate money to anyone involved in this idiocy, it would be your (ex)wife. How can I do that?

  • Casey,

send me your attorney’s name and contact info, I’d be happy to donat directly to him/her

  • Curst!!

  • I would just put together as much ammo for your defense as you can. Develop the best case and execute it. That should be the plan.

You seem to think everybody has your interest at heart- they don’t. So protect yourself.

  • Beg, beg, beg.. that is all you do anymore.

  • Bubb Rubb

  • boring..

  • For all the haters who think I’m NOT going to use the money for attorney, I already told you to simply contact me and if I feel you’re legitimate and not just screwing around with me, I will give you the contact info for the attorney and you can send him a check directly towards my expenses.

But if you’re SO worried, you probably shouldn’t donate period. I have enough supporters.

  • I will donate $300 upon your furnishing an I-9 or W-4 form or paystub, dated between 1 July and 1 September 2007. This will be subject to verification with the employer shown. You may block out your SS# or other identifying numbers but NOT the pay amount.

This offer is subject to recission if the employer is Nouveau Riche University or one of its affiliates, or a person or other entity who has a business relationship with same.

  • Do my eyes deceive me? Did you actually take our advice? Wow. Maybe all this nonsense is what it takes to get through to you.

Be sure to post a tally of donations. People are much more willing to donate if they can see the progress and know they have made a difference. They don’t want to think the money is going into a black hole.

  • Another begathon coming soon!

    CS is not a Christian.

  • By the way, Mark has told me and others (listen to the last podcast) that he doesn’t mind being mentioned by first name or alias “LossMitPro”.

As much as I’m tempted to just plaster his first and last name all over this blog, I’m going to refrain. And I ask you to do the same.

Even though he doesn’t seem to care about being respectful about MY name or reputation. You should see what he put in the background in his complaint that he filed. All I can say is HIGHLY slanted and repeated mention of “mortgage fraud”. Looks like he wanted a certain negative light cast on me and the whole thing was used to put dirt about me in the courts (which becomes public domain)

Regardless of all that, I am choosing to not stoop down to his level for now and not use dirty tactics. And I ask you to do the same.

Better you should spend the money on a criminal attorney. Losding IAFF.com is nothing compared to the threat of jail.

And what happened to that “Casey Serin Fund” site? It went poof faster than the CH forums.

  • The Phoenix job opportunity is very tempting. Base salary plus commission and/or ownership of the company. The relocation preferred by not necessary. I’m still finding out the details of the potential salary, benefits, etc. I also have another local opportunity that came up that I’m looking into.

  • Seeing as my asw was “corporation”, I would figure that is where all your supporterz lie. You expect me to donate money to you after you just ran off to Phoenix? This after getting back from Washington and Australia?

Suuuuuuure, where do I send the checks? Oh wait, you already have enough supporterz….nevermind.

  • If there are certain conditions you want met (or some questions you want answered) before you donate then post them here and even better, contact me, and I’ll see what I can do.

I guess this is similar to the famous Beg-a-thon I had a few months ago, but this time I’m not going to do stupid stuff for $10.

  • Hahahaha, begathon, I KNEW IT!

CASEY SERIN IS NOT A CHRISTIAN.

  • I’m gonna step away from the computer but please be patient as my moderators work on releasing the comments throughout the day. If you want to ask me something urgent use the contact link at the top.

  • Why is you need to hire a criminal attorney? You’ve mentioned this need a couple of times now but not explained it. It wasn’t so long ago you were talking about needing to be more ‘naked’ and actually answer people’s questions. Then again, you say a lot of things…

  • Casey -

Congratulations, Casey: getting representation is a good decision.

Although it really would have helped to consult a professional *before* signing the settlement agreement. (You did sign an agreement with Mark, correct? Can you answer this for us without compromising your case?)

A large part of your “weakness” seems to be that you’re easily swayed by meetings that pay attention to you — for example also your 5-hour phone conversation with Mark during which you broke your NDA “as a gesture of trust”; the meetings with the No Limits Ladies in which you signed your life away to them (”letsdoit!”) even though you had misgivings about their ability to fulfil their side of the deal. (And what is the status of the NLL contract? Did Marty enter into an agreement with you with that bit of nonsense still unresolved?)

    repeated mention of “mortgage fraud”

Well, let’s be fair here: you did commit repeated instances of mortgage fraud. That part, at least, is pretty unambiguous.

    But anyway: good luck.

  • You say the complaint has repeated mention of “mortgage fraud” - and your point?

  • The last time you held a beg-a-thon, you turned around the next day and put thousands of dollars into a penny stock. Why in the world would anyone in his or her right mind contribute money to you now? Don’t make some faux contrite statement like “well, I know you have no reason to trust me, and you’re right, but all I can do is hope that you will see that this time I’m serious…..”

    1) Where are you living? At home? w/Parents?
    2) Can you describe the type of work the phoenix job is? Don’t say the company name if you don’t want to, but what kind of sales, how much % split vs. base and commission?
    3) Is the new job at NRU?

Good on you for hiring a lawyer instead of just thinking about it or focusing on it it or recognizing the need to do it.

Now, what you need to do is run your posts by your lawyer if you’re talking about this lawsuit before posting it.

I think you’re in the wrong on just about everything you say or do, but that doesn’t mean ***** ********** is in the right.

But you’ve finally followed some advise [sic] that people have been giving you since day 1 of your blog…. GET A LAWYER!

  • Hey Kid;

“I retained an attorney yesterday and it cost me $1500.”

You’re a genius, hobbit. I really don’t know how you manage to step on your dingus so consistently.

You COULD have honored your side of the settlement, and your dear Toilet Scrubber would have been 25 thousand dollars closer to breaking the surface and being able to breathe.

Instead, you pulled on a pair of golf spikes and stomped down hard, and now you,(or your financial backer) is out $1500.

BTW…the fact that your mouthpiece wanted his money up front…what does that tell you about the merits of this fabulous countersuit you two have dreamed up?

I don’t know what kind of ambulance-chasin’ ham-n-egger you MAY have retained, (does he even speak English?),but the lawyer I know, who sued sitting President Clinton,(and won), worked that case on contingency.

If you have a case, and the rabbit can afford to pay, usually the attorney will work for a cut.

BTW, little puppet, the hall…Oakland…job…benefits…room and board.

  • Most of us know that the BS “settlement” (see my explanation) is just a big circus and it was his idea to use the “settlement” to accomplish my purpose. I don’t want to use his tricks anymore because its manipulative.

As many have stated before Casey, whether or not the settlement is “BS” is not up to you to decide. It is up to the COURT. “Court guys - NO DEAL” does not function in this country.
Incidentally, I noticed you mentioned that the lawyer indicated you had grounds to “counter-sue”, but I don’t see any mention of the lawyer indicating the settlement was “BS”.
Note: if you countersue, it will cost you more money.

I’m still looking to accomplish my goals though (shutting down, job, paying my wife’s credit cards, etc). However this guy is getting in the way and trying to KEEP me from doing that.

Um, Casey. That “guy” was not getting in the way, he OFFERED you a way out! So did Duane! And it was YOU that got in the way of yourself. Had you followed through with the sale, you would have $20k in the bank going towards your wife’s credit cards and would not have had to spend $1500 for an attorney. For crying out loud kid, DO YOU NOT GET IT??!! You are your own worst enemy. You cannot follow through on anything and you continuously make the same mistakes over and over!

And all this in the face of “much bigger issues” with the law as you aluded to in your own post. For crying out loud Casey, you are in no position to fight a war on two fronts, let alone one!

But hey, if that’s the route you want to take, knock yourself out. Just more entertainment for me.

I won’t donate to your legal defense, Casey. I recommend that anyone else considering making a donation take ten seconds to reconsider, then send that amount to Habitat for Humanity or their local United Way.

If you have “tempting” job offers, take them. Then pay for your own defense, honor your committments, repay the money you owe your creditors, and use the spare change to get some counseling for your NPD.

  • 84. LostMittens
    July 19th, 2007 at 12:51 pm

It’s not illegal to post someone’s name on a blog and LMP knows it. His name is all over EN an CHC, where he’s openly mocked by many for being a tool. As I’m sure you already know, he signs his posts as “Mark” on the haterz sites.

Rob Colte and company originally claimed that LMP wanted to get you into court so that he could expose your crimes before a judge. Mr. Liable found out that was actually illegal after several people mentioned that it was an abuse of process, and at that point he tried to claim that he was doing all of this to save his reputation and recover damages. However, his reputation was shot long before you started this blog. He has a history of suing people on message boards and trying to bully others.

It’s difficult to see why Mark (or Anthony or whatever name he’s going by these days) seems to think that he can convince a judge that it’s fine for him to take the book material from a site that was marked “secret” across the top of the page and post it on his site, yet that it’s not equally acceptable for his last name to be posted. Granted, the page was not protected and didn’t have a login, but since when is his name some great secret that must be preserved through the ages?

  • Anybody care to start a list of the things about the background of this whole situation that Casey just happened to “forget” to inform the lawyer about?

I’m sure it was just, “Wah, wah, this dude got mad ’cause I used his name on the internet, and he threatened me and made me sign a contract, and now I don’t wanna do it anymore and he’s bullying me cause he wants my sweet blog….”

Any attorney willing to work on a $1500 retainer in this instance is not one who is anywhere near aware of the extent of the swirling s*** storm that is hovering over Casey’s head, nor Casey’s role in creating it…hence all the talk about countersuits, etc.

Nice try, kid…but he who shall not be named ain’t backing down just because you’re rattling your little toy saber.

  • “Base salary plus commission and/or ownership of the company” usually means “pays like s*** unless you work really, really hard.” Why is that very tempting?

  • Pretty sad when there are soooo many worthwhile charities to donate to. People actually want to give their hard earned money to this guy.

Ohhhh well….Go ahead and give him the money and then you’ll realize the POWER OF THE DARK SIDE where getting in comments is harder than Casey paying back his lenders. POOOOOOHHHHHH PAAAAAHHHHHHHH…POOOOOOHHHHH PAAAAAHHHHHH

  • Anyone making a donation to this buffoon will be considered an “accessory” to all of CS’s crimes. You should be ashamed of yourself for opening your wallets to a guy who needs psyche help badly.

    Casey,

The way you refer to “Mark”, “Marty” and “Duane” as three “characters” suggests that you think you somehow exist on some higher moral plane than they do. Nothing could be further from the truth. The day you signed your first liar loan was the day you dove into the same cesspool of septic sludge that those three swim in.

    Regards,

    Charles.

  • Hooray. Hiring the attorney first bright move I’ve seen you take in 10 months. I hope he/she is the hungriest, meanest you could find, and getting a generation portion of any of the proceeds of your litigation. I cannot believe that any lawyer, even one as obviously educationally challenged as this one, would spell libel as “liable.” Wow, I can only dream of the returns if this turns out to be someone masquerading as a lawyer picking his legal quotations based on a Google search of the Calif. code. If that should be the ase, you could sell shares in the settlement, rather than taking donations.

    We want to know that.

    1. Did your wife divorce you yet?
    2. What is your wife doing now? stay at home and no work?
    3. Did you actually trying to find a real job?
    4. What kind of job you seek in AZ?
    5. Are you still homeless?
    6. Do you sleep in the car? or under the bridge?
    7. Do you want to go back to Russia?
    8. Do you want to marry a rich woman?
    9. Who pay for your meals?? Do you eat Ants?

Answer all these questions with honest answers (do not avoid answers) and you will have a surprise in your account..

First, You people trying to scare the guy are idiots.Casey has not been charged with any crimes. As far “tossing salad” in jail, If and I say IF Casey saw the inside of a fed prison, it would be a minimum security, with other white collar criminals. Lawyers doctors stock market etc. And they dont even have walls around those min security. There is just a painted line and they tell you dont walk over it. So he wouldnt be “bunking with Bubba” , Bubba is in state prison for violent crimes, or a fed max security prison for Drug charges. Max he would get with a plea is about 18 to 28 months. But remember, he hasnt even been charged with anything, thats if he really was under investigation, which I doubt very much. Worse case scenario, he does his 18 months, comes out and makes a VERY good living writting and doing speeches and semnars about his past mistakes, maybe even working for the mortgage industry, while the majority of the fools who post on this blog are still living in their trailors in the mid west and working in their dead end W2 jobs……….

Casey, the guy suing you can mention “mortgage fraud” all he wants in his complaint, however since you have not been found guilty of mortgage fraud, nor even charged for it, its what we like to call BASELESS. It can actually backfire on him, because he is a lawyer and officer of the court, he is expected to know better. If he makes refrence to this blog and your admission of mortgage fraud here, I believe that would fall under creative license, since you can say anyhting you want here, doesnt mean its factual. (unless your blogging under oath)
One guy blogs about how he makes weekly trips to other planets. Its probably not true, lol

Yep, goods things are just on the horizon. It’s a big horizon, though, since they’ve “been coming” for a very long time.

  • On a positive note… I just spoke with my attorney after he spoke to Mark and looks like both sides are willing to cooperate and settle this thing quietly and let everything go away into the night. I’m yet to see what exactly this new “settlement” is going to be all about but I don’t want to talk about it yet until I confirm with my attorney. My attorney told me to hold my tongue, so I’m trying hard to do that.

  • #41 - “I guess this is similar to the famous Beg-a-thon I had a few months ago, but this time I’m not going to do stupid stuff for $10.”

I guess the contract you signed way back when — saying no more begathons — is completely meaningless now. That doesn’t show a whole lot of “fixing this mess” effort with regard to your marriage, does it?

  • One great way to hold one’s tongue is to eat a bug! Ants in particular are crammed full of nutrients, and since most are the drones in a hive mind you can pick off the individuals with no moral qualms (not really an issue hereabouts anyway) and little more than a bent stick. Said bent stick you can obtain from any nearby homeless person in exchange for a $4 bottle of wine, which you also get to keep when you shout “Nodeal!” and then run away with your stick and your wine. Homeless people are easy to outrun because they are usually in poor health and have at least one shoe with no sole on it. You’ll see what I mean in about 18 months.

  • I will donate 20 bucks if you eat a live bug.

Worse case(y) scenario is that he does 18 months, comes out and starts his own real estate school to compete against NRU!

    Imagine the damage.

  • He folded that quick!! LossMit must be steaming!!! Mr. “You got a problem, You got a got damn problem…. ” turns out to be MR. BLOWHARD!!!!!!

  • Casey, I’m kind of torn. I think Girly Rizer has a point — let him win; you’re shutting the blog down anyway and he’ll never collect a judgment unless you do something stupid.

On that note, please don’t agree to any settlements that puts him ahead of your other creditors. Don’t agree to anything that says where the money is coming from! He knows collections and he knows if he just wins money with no specific source, he’s going to be one of dozens of unhappy creditors.

In fact, you shouldn’t agree to pay him one thin dime, especially since your lawyer smells countersuit. If you have a good enough attorney, he’ll owe you money.

Run everything by your attorney and let him know YOU MAKE AWFUL DECISIONS and need direction. I know you tire of hearing that, you think you’re quite the businessman, but your decisions tend to suck badly. You need this attorney to guide you. Don’t sell out just to make LuMPy go away!

And Casey, no matter how nice or how sorry he sounds, don’t ever speak to him again. He’s obviously got you in his sights, whether it’s to take over your blog or maybe your w*fe.

  • Casey, oh, Casey?

Since you could kill two birds with one stone?

Do you think the attorney you work with on this now will be the same attorney for criminal matters?

Please let us know - do tell.

  • I will donate on the condition you pursue a countersuit of Loss T** . He threatened you and others as well. Have you made your attorney aware of this? Maybe it is time your attorney hires a PI to look into that character, bet you will find more than you bargained for! I will be emailing you for contact info for the attorney. I am not a big supporter Casey, but one thing I cannot stand is bullying and intimidation like I have seen. This person needs to learn a lesson, a harsh one. He can dish it out, lets see if he can take it. BOOYAH!

  • Please “supporters” don’t give this bum a dime. Donate your money to the needy and starving children around the world. Casey has sunk to a new low - stealing wasn’t enough for him obviously and now he is totally embarassing himself (and his family) by reducing himself to begging. This should really be illegal. Give to a starving child, I beg of you.

Are you making this story up to get money?

  • Update.

Since I have been busy doing many important things today, I let some of my netowrk of highly trained professionals™ share in the arduaous task of moderating this blog. I had a meeting wit Will from AAA (the auto club) to see if it was feasible to commute from Sacramento to Phoenix. He showed me on several maps of various scales that it likely would not be feasible to do thi sfor long periods of time. Will pointed out that the one-way driving time is 10 hours and 52 minutes, meaning that if I left my W-2 job (gotta keep my end of the bargain™, right?) right at 5:00 PM, I would arrive home to my darling “those of whom we cannot speak”™ at about 4:00 in the morning.

Assuming 1:45 minutes to eat dinner, have a meaningful discussion with “those of whom we cannot speak”™ in order to try and patch things up, sleep, shower, shave and get dressed for another productive workday, I wouldn’t arrive at work until 4:05 PM the following day. That leaves only 55 minutes to get a full 8 hours of work done. Remember when I blogged about having to do $1,000 an hour work™ instead of paltry $100 an hour work™? Well now is the time. I told Will I appreciated his hard work™ and while I didn’t doubt him, I wanted some of my highly trained professionals™ to verify his figures before I show them to “those of whom we cannot speak”™.

I was really hoping that I would be able to take a C.R.A.P. job and not have to re-locate. I went through the various reasons earlier, but I was hoping the commute wouldn’t be that bad. Maybe the people offering me the C.R.A.P. position could allow me some flexibility in scheduling, kindof™ like flex time. Maybe I should talk to Dave in Davis about the possibility of leasing the BioBunny™ from him.

I do have several exciting possibilities in the Sacramento are to consider. Three are with real estate related companies and one is with a credit repair company. I am not sure that I want to consider the position with the credit repair company, because it is in sales and I promised “those of whom we cannot speak” that I would get a regular salaried W-2 job.

Roxi called today and said that of the 103 houses we looked at yesterday in Phoenix, she has a “good vibe” on 3 and thinks I should partner up on at least one. She is confident that we could get a former $980,000 property for the low 700s or mabe a bit in the high 6’s, and she also has located an 92 year old gentleman with a 780 FICO who she thinks would let me use his credit to qualify. Roxi says the property is in a brand-new subdivision where as recently as lasy summer houses were routinely selling in the high 9’s and above.

Roxi explained that the builder’s cousin’s brother in law had some major dental problems and he (the builder) had to let his stepson run the business while he went back to Arkansas to help the relative recover from the oral surgery. It seems that while he was gone, the stepson sold the developer’s pickup and left for Mexico with his girlfriend. The lender cam ein and is making them sell all of the houses. So, Roxi thinks now is the perfect time to by™ so I won’t get priced out forever. She thinks that since it is a new house, after we buy it we can immediately re-list it for $975,000 and have it under contract by labor day.

If she is right, that would be a sweet™ $135,000 profit for me in about 6 weeks.

I can’t tell “those of whom we cannot speak”™ about it until after the deal is closed and I have my profit. Anyway, Ambur™ is pestering me about getting into P.I.N.K.™. She says if I don’t hurry up and take her P.I.N.K.™ offer someone else will get into her P.I.N.K. before me. I really does look like a sweet™ oppotunity for me with P.I.N.K., but “those of whom we cannot speak”™ will be jealous, because of her dreams. I can’t seem too eager about getting into P.I.N.K., but Ambur™ makes it sound so appealing.

    What should I do?

This analysis is largely cribbled from rogersmith8080 at the “main hater site.” (It’s a tribute, not plagiarism)

Plan A (original settlement): Casey is out $1572.59, blog sold for $20,000 + 50% revenue for a year to pay off w***’s bills, and give him plenty of free time to find work.

Also note that the original settlement was structured such that he would be *forced* to make sure the money went to his w***’s bills.

Plan B: Casey is out at least $1500 so that he can be left alone to sell his blog to god-knows-who, pay his w***’s bills, and get a job. (AS IF).

Good move Casey! You stand to save at most $72.59!

  • Oh, you guys think this talk of a “settlement” means that he-who-shall-not-be-named is backing down? Remember, Casey has said nothing about what this “settlement” entails. Could just be that Casey’s lawyer is going to tell Casey that his best course is to shut his piehole and abide by the terms of the original agreement. I mean, if it was true (as Casey says in his original post of this thread), that there was “plenty of standing” to countersue….why settle? If Casey’s position were really that strong, and all kinds of countersuits were possible, what the attorney would be doing is advising Casey to go ahead with the countersuits….and he would work on a contingency fee basis and take his fees at the end as a percentage of the juicy award when they win the case. No, folks, this is Casey-spin again…..his legal beagle has probably just started to come to an understanding of what the real facts are and is adjusting his position accordingly. Yes, they may settle…but Casey will tell us that he’s not going to talk about the terms because he just wants this all to “fade away”…..when really the result is that he flushed $1500 just to end up with terms almost exactly the same as what he agreed to last week. I doubt this gets posted.

  • Hey Casey, is the Talkcast still on for tomorrow?

I know you’re not going to be able to talk about the details of the proceedings (given that your lawyer is rightfully telling you to keep quiet) but I’m sure there are plenty of other things that your audience would like to ask.

Can’t wait for this drama to be over.

Depends on your definition of ‘drama’ I suppose.

The marriage / family issues will still need to be resolved, you’ll still be in a huge pile of debt, have no real income, and be facing possible criminal charges.

Sounds pretty dramatic to me. The only difference is you won’t have an audience looking over your shoulder.

    You NEED money for lawyers.
Why not foreclose on your Utah wrap? For a few thousand dollars and legal fees to foreclose, you could have $100-$150k in equity for the property.
The wrapees have the most to lose as they can be foreclosed on for not executing the balloon portion of the note.

This is probably what Mark is after while trying to sue you and get a judgement, so he can grab the property.

Had any more offers for your domain, Casey? Serious ones?

You might see if American Foreclosure Specialists are interested. They already own iamfacingforeclosure.net and iamfacingforeclosure.org.

  • I agree with the other people. I wont give you a penny until you tell us who is suing you.

I am not going to play games with you in email. Spell it ALL out what his name so that I can see for myself.

  • Hear™ are some of the details that I am able to share regarding the court case. My attorney is H. Williamson (Bill)Cheeder IV. He is a senior partner of the firm of Dewey Cheadum and Howe. The have over 70 attorneys on their staff and have quite an impressive reputation.

Although they are normally known for thier litigation of water, oil, gas and mineral rights, Bill Cheeder™ offered to help me. He even reduced his customary fee from $375 and hour to $332.50. I am greatful for that.

I think he kinda felt sorry for me, and dislikes the fact that I am being litigated into financial ruin (possibly). His current theory is to counter sue and allege:

    * Loss of productivity
    * Financial distress caused by sleep deprevation
    * Mental impairment (by being twisted in knots from the worrying)
    * Mental anguish
    * Restless Leg Syndrome
    * Onset of various eating disorders
    * Semi-vegan™ espohpgeal constringency
    * Blue balls™
    * Renal compromise with early onset of wheatgrass deprivation

I think he might be onto something with this. He will take the balanceof his fee on a contingency basis (that is good, right?). So itsall™ good™.

Lastly, the feedback is running about 50/50 on whether I should take Ambur’s offer of P.I.N.K.™ (that one seems to be split along gender lines, the guy’s saying go for the P.I.N.K.™ and the women saying that would make “those of whom we cannot speak”™ jealous), and about 75/25 in favor of taking the C.R.A.P. job.

    Let’s here™ some more comments.

When I get things I have not earned, I call it a ‘gift’. I do not ask people for ‘gifts’. I have had ‘gifts’ given to me for Christmas, my wedding, and my birthday. People are not obligated to give me these things called ‘gifts’, nor am I especially entitled.

The same is true of you: is it your birthday? Christmas? And if not, why do you expect people to give you money? You’re just going to use to go on a trip or to buy speculative stocks.

I’m going to donate my hard earned money to a woman’s shelter.

  • Casey:

So I’ll end with an earlier question. Where’s the dirt? Where’s the blood in the street?

  • @163. Sprezzature..

… Sounds pretty dramatic to me. The only difference is you won’t have an audience looking over your shoulder.

That has been the worst part - thousands of anonymous people looking over the shoulder as you’re struggling to avoid being eaten alive by all the monsters that I have created for myself. Its true, i’m the only one to blame for this mess, (of course, I’ve had help along the way, but ultimately, I take responsibility).

Instead of “looking over the shoulder” I like to use the idea of the collesium and the Roman times. I’m being fed to the lions with only a wooden stick to defend myself and tens of thousands of people are watching and rooting. Some are rooting for the lions, some are rooting for me. Some give me advice and almost everybody is there for entertainment, wheather they realize it or not.

This entertainment (or iritatnment) was fun for a while. I was feeling like an actor in this fun play. I also got some great connections out of all this and a little bit of cash (advertising) to keep going.

But when I started to realize these are REAL lions and they ARE going to eat me alive if I don’t do something and do something QUICK, my attitude started to change.

So yes, I’m ready for this whole drama to be over. I know the REAL drama is FAR from being over and I have some real battles to fight. I know there is going to be a lot of hard work ahead of me.

But at least I won’t have the “Roman Coliseum” to be distracted with. It’s a bitter sweet thing. Being in the spotlight has certain advantages but all in all I definitely think it brings a lot more HARM then good.

As weird as it is to have people right songs about your story, I find some comfort in the music of it. (There are 2 remixes and are both good).

The music is exactly how I feel right now, especially since things are MUCH worst then I thought in certain ways.

It’s also how I have felt in the past during “one of those days”. But those days never lasted more than one or two days. This time its different.

My natural optimistic juices are running really low.

  • Instead of “looking over the shoulder” I like to use the idea of the collesium and the Roman times. I’m being fed to the lions with only a wooden stick to defend myself…

I did some time in a Federal Penitentiary when I was 22 until I was 25.

Let me give you some advice that nobody gave me (and I wish to God someone had)

You are skinny, small and girlish (enough for cons doing life anyway) here are some tips to keep you from being someones b**** and getting thru your upcoming experience alive.

    1) Bulk up.
    2) Grow a nasty, straggly, ZZTop beard.
    3) Shave your head.
    4) If anyone disrespects you (touches you, cuts you off, talks crap) don’t even think about it, swing as hard as you can for their nose and keep swinging until they can’t get up or a hack breaks it up. It’s like a shark tank, once one of them has shown you to be a punk, you WILL be someones b**** .
    5) Stick with your own kind. The Russian Mob had a decent presence, if you know Russian your in. Run to them the second your foot hits the yard for the first time. They have a mutual protection agreement with the Aryans, so nobody really messes with them. You will have to watch our for your own kind though, as stated before, a lot of them are in for life and you are skinny enough and pretty enough to satisfy their needs (you may think you can resist, you can’t).

The pen is all about respect. If they don’t think you respect them, or they are able to disrespect you. Life will be hell.

You will have to fight, if a riot breaks out and you are not seen defending whichever group you run with (Russians, Aryans) you will be dealt with (them killing you for this offense is not out of the question).

You may have to do some distasteful things for whichever group you run with. They will generally ask you to do them a favor when you first want to hang with them and be protected by them. This can include muling drugs, getting contraband, or even killing a rival. DO NOT SAY NO.

Let me know if you’d like to know more. I think that covers all the big stuff you will run into. I wouldn’t wish the pen on my worst enemy, hope you come thru it ok.

Casey, those are lions of your own creation.
Lions in the form of Mortgages not paid, credit bills not paid. Amazing how hungry they get when they don’t get their monthly payment(food).
Lions in the form of deceit. Amazing how hungry they get when the deceit is uncovered.
Lions in the form of broken promises, amazing how hungry they get when the promise is broken.
Amazing how the lions remember all of this. Did you assume that the lions would forget your trespass?

The straight and narrow is very boring, probably because there aren’t as many lions.

  • Casey by the sound of it you’ve got some trouble and are being charged for criminal mortgage fraud? Can you fill us in on any of the details? Wow if thats the case you must be sorry that you ever started this blog since surely that wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t told your story.

  • I think you like being in the public eye. It’s your personality. Were you not depressed last time you shut it down? And was that only partially due to the lack of income?

  • Is the job you’re considering in Phoenix with ‘Nouveau Riche University’ or affiliate thereof?

  • I think you’ve inadvertantly stumbled upon the true key to your nature…..the fact that you desperately need other people reacting to you….even if it’s in a negative way. You need to manipulate other people…even if it means pissing them off, because it’s the only way you feel alive. You need constant attention, any attention, because you’re afraid to be alone with the emptiness of your own inner being….the lack of conscience, true empathy, deep unselfish emotions…..people who have those things have true inner strength to draw upon and thus are comfortable with themselves….and you ultimately are not…not when it’s just you….you need to see yourself reflected back in someone else’s eyes. It’s easy to ignore the inner emptiness when you’re the center of attention in your little self created “plays”, isn’t it? Even your spouse, when it comes right down to it, was really nothing more than an audience for your performances, was she? (Oh, and her credit proved useful, too, I guess).

So….you want donations for your “legal fund”. Hmmmm….I seem to recall a certain contract with your wife that stated that you are no longer allowed to beg for money. I don’t believe it said “no longer allowed to beg, EXCEPT for legal defense”. Oh wait….that was a Casey contract. I keep forgetting that all you have to do is say “No deal!!” and you can weasel your way out. D’oh!! My bad!

I’m sure the $1,500 that you gave your lawyer is just a retainer to get the ball rolling. You do understand that you will undoubtedly have additional fees if this thing with M*** goes further? I guess once the $1,500 is used up, the lawyer will bill you for the difference. Will you then go into “lawyer-ignore” mode? Here’s a hint….that would probably be a bad idea! I would certainly limit the time you spend on the phone with the lawyer (they bill you for the time you spend talking, even if over the phone). You need to stretch that $1,500 as far as you can since that is probably all the lawyer will ever see from you.

By the way, if you are so ready for this drama to be over, why wait for August 3rd? Is it because you said that you would shut down on August 3rd and you don’t want to go back on your word? When has that ever stopped you before? If you are serious about wanting the drama to end, and to work your way out of this moronic situation, close the blog down NOW. People will forget about you very quickly and you can work on rebuilding your life. Ahhhhh…I get it, you don’t want people to forget about you. You are an attention-monger, and this blog also gives you exposure to even more deluded people than yourself who possibly might give you some of their hard-earned money.

I think M*** is slimy, but YOU, Casey…are even slimier. YOU put yourself (and your family) out here for everyone to see, and daily you keep perpetuating the drama. Go away, little boy…it would be the best decision you ever made.

Mr Marks, I’ll match you dollar for dollar should you be able to get our Casey to agree.

  • “Yes still shutting down on August 3rd. Less than 15 days left. Can’t wait for this drama to be over.”

When this happens you will lose the income and you will have lost your passion. That is by far going to be a worse drama than what you are faced with now. I think HungryBear stated it best: “I think you like being in the public eye. It’s your personality. Were you not depressed last time you shut it down? And was that only partially due to the lack of income?”

You can not change who you are and when you try you will have misery like you never thought possible. Your young and inexperienced and it shows with your lack of foresight. You are just emotionalizing right now and not thinking things completely through. This will come to bite you in the a** later on in life. In the end you will have to live with your decisions and everyone else will have moved on. Instead of being that big comeback story that everyone will remember you will end up being nothing more than a footnote through time. Remember ultimate power is who you know not what you know. You have admitted that you have made some great contacts while blogging. What do you think is going to happen when you stop? Out of sight and out of mind. No more contacts and no more of a way to try to make it big. To make it big you need others to help you. That means public spotlight and now you do not want that. Are you trying to say that now you would be satisfied as a 9 to 5er making remedial money because you do not have a college degree? I hope you look at everything and really look hard at yourself and think things through. Also remember you are trying to get $20k for your legal defense in case something happens. Here you have the means to accomplish this and when you pull the plug your means are now gone with it.

For those of you you keep on Casey and his criminal behaviors all I have to say is do you remember Frank Abagnale Jr. He really did some crimes of fraud and con and in the end look how he ended up (very wealthy because of his fame and knowledge). What Casey’s crimes are is of being gullible, inexperienced, trusting, and not knowing any better. This is not criminal behavior just naive.

    July 19th, 2007 at 8:47 pm

Casey is so happy now that he got lots money from the fools’ donation. so easy money.

Easier than the cash back at COE.

Are you a fool who donate him the money??

Casey think begging is working, and actual working is wasting time, no wonder he does not like regular job.

    are you a bum?

  • News flash:

Casey isn’t going to eat a bug.

And asking him to is tiresome and not humorous in the least.

    July 19th, 2007 at 8:56 pm

Another vote here for keeping the blog going.

Do you know there are two ADDITIONAL sites where everyone babbles about you day and night?

I don`t care if they fuxking hate you. It’s mass movement. There’s money in this you`ve just not yet tap into it.

  • Dude… hire me, for a nominal fee, and I could make all your problems “go away”. ;) ;)

  • Hey Kid…(snap-snap)…over here kid! never mind “the lions” and “the Emperor” for a minute…

    Check out “a lawyer’s” post…#225.

He sure seems concerned that you pay Marty and that you pay your lawyer,y’know?

If he indeed is a lawyer,(and I doubt that he is,since not many lawyers give away that much advice for free, and advising someone who already has counsel, unasked,is a professional discourtesy), I’d wager that he’s Marty’s lawyer.
    See how that works?

    yeah-yeah, hobbit…it’sallgood,sweet,win-win.

Back to the arena with you, kitty-jerky.

  • Well Casey…I gotta tell you. I won’t be back for a few days. I am picking up the new Harry Potter tomorrow at midnight. I have to finish it before I can come back and read this mess again.

    Good luck,
    April

  • Who is “This Guy” you are talking about?

I would donate, but you must be specific on the details and names. I wont donate to something I don’t understand.

  • Casey your story is JUST NOW getting really interesting. Notice all the quality comments?

This stuff is GOLD cannot be written. Shuttin down blog is a million dollar mistake. Of course you hate all this negative publicity, its a nightmare. Just remember in Hollywood THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS NEGATIVE PUBLICITY. Next year you could be on a reality TV show with Paris Hilton! For real.

Stick with the blog. If the FBI nails you, blog about it (golden!) If you do time find a way to blog about it. You are a victim of the America guru-get rich quick shysters like Sheets,Kiyosacki, etc. Its time to air thie dirty laundry. At the VERY LEAST I see an HBO mini series. Do watch TV? TV is huge money!

How many other bloggers have theme songs. BTW those guys rule. wow, very very high good. sad music+your comments=awsome.

  • Hi Casey,

Glad to see you are doing better and are having some luck getting these folks off of your back.

They do seem somewhat obsessed with you.

That MP3 sounded a little off. not like you at all. I did like hearing all the “caseyisms”, however. LOL

Some people on this board wonder why I’m suing Casey for 54 million dollars over a pair of pants: to wit, why not ask Casey why the pants were lost in the first place and where they are now? A man’s pair of pants is sacred. Casey and I had a spiritual bond which he betrayed by loosing my pants: as in, they cannot and will not ever be replaced! ;-)

According to California law code #3440h22 a TRO can be filed within 48 hours anytime pants go missing. I gave Casey more time than that! I gave him 50 hours and he failed to comply: to wit- no pants! Thus I dare him or anyone hiding behind so called- false security of fake anonymity to continue this charade and see who wins! Wanna play? ;-) )

    Yours Truly,

  • Casey,

Your attorney’s advice about holding your tongue is good advice. Follow it and hang in there.

  • I think you mistyped your goals:

I’m still looking to accomplish my goals though (shutting down, job, paying my wife’s credit cards, etc).

You clearly meant, “shutting down my job of paying my wife’s credit cards, etc.”

Yeah, dude. I have to admit I’m kinda rooting for the lions over here.

  • Casey,

My comment probably does not matter at the bottom of 200 plus comments already, but I do think this lawsuit is frivelous.
I am not a lawyer, but unless you signed something promising not to post his name, or he had already warned you in writing to not use his name, or you encouraged people to call him, harass him, or worse then this is just ridiculous.
If his name was already known by other readers before you made it known, or if his name was anywhere on the internet related to his posts/screenname you definitely need to present that information to your attorney.
My bet is he just wanted the satisfaction of seeing you spend $1500. I bet he will drop the lawsuit!
Regardless, you should try to get your lawyer to counterfile to recoup your legal expenses. Don’t be holier than thou in this situation. You are not being evil by simply attempting to recoup the money you have spent for this ridiculous lawsuit and your pain and suffering :) .
P.S. Do yourself a favor and edit this post. Get your attorney to open up a paypal account and change the link to his account. That would look a lot more credible.
I feel for you dude. I got burned a bit in real estate as well. Well, I really burned myself to be honest. It wasn’t my grace.
    My Advice if it matters:
    1) Stay away from blogging and revealing personal information on the internet for a long time. Blogging is not bad, but if I told everything going on in my life I would have some haterz too (so would everyone).
    2) Go to a good Church regularly. This crowd you have attracted (not all of them) are sucking you under. You need to hear what God has to say much more than what any of us have to say.
    3) Stop with the “Pipe Dreams.” I am not saying that there are not things that will make you wealthy, but Casey, most of those things require a lot of knowledge and work.
    4) Don’t ever give up kid.

    God Bless

  • Casey says:

I like to use the idea of the collesium and the Roman times. I’m being fed to the lions with only a wooden stick to defend myself and tens of thousands of people are watching and rooting.

Hey, that’s a bit rude, isn’t it? You’ve been to Australia, you know what “rooting” means!

    ASW: lawsuit

  • Casey, I suggest you do this: On August 3rd you remove the old content on your blog. After that you can post short entries, say once a week, telling your supporters how things are going. The haterz will continue to post after August 3rd -the name Casey Serin will not disappear from the net because you close your blog, so why can’t you keep your blog up as well?

You can keep the ads there - they will generate income for you. I do not think the advertisers care about clicks on their ads, they are only interested in the Google ranking.

    Think about it.

  • What I find really funny is that in the last two months while you’ve been playing the poor little Casey saga, I’ve gotten about 3/4ths through a new project that will create initial net cash flow of 2-3k a month. It will build with time and I won’t have any legal problems with the project.

Downside was that I have had to work on it about 30 hours a week on top of normal workload.

I guess in your world internet begging is more appropriate than actually producing something of value, which explains a lot about why you are in your current situation.

    Concerning post # 246…

    1) Best screen name
    - J. Murse Manbagger, no question. Bloggy McManpurse isn’t too shabby though.

    2) Consistently best poster
    - Timeline Guy…is there even anyone in the same ball park?

Casey, I would donate if you eat a roach, a scorp or get kicked in the groin. I would still like to see the French maid photos too. Just an FYI.

Timeline Guy is the next David Sedaris. I mean, first C.R.A.P. then P.I.N.K., I can’t wait to see what’s next. I could barely make it through that list of “damages.” After restless leg syndrome I had to stop and take a break for fear pissing myself. That is the best laugh I’ve had since…well, yesterday’s post.

Regardless of what happens with the Foreclosure Code (a mistake), which is pretty much the worst title for a book ever, I would encourage timeline guy to write a satirical version using the developing story from all of his posts. Frankly, I’m more interested in what happens in his rendition of Serin’s story than Snowflake’s.

    ASW: gold

as in, Timeline Guy is pure gold!

  • wow dude… sorry to hear about all this. I’d totally donate, but we’re waiting on checks ourselves..

    wow… wow…

It’s amazing how someone can hate you soooo much. I hope that you are able to get outta the light for a while and get your life repaired.

  • His entire purpose is to force you to spend money. You are spending money. He is winning. Sack your lawyer. Defend yourself. he has no case. People who bully others with the legal system frighten them with the prospect of spending a fortune on legal fees. By yielding to this, you’re doing what he wants- and he will win no matter the verdict, because he forced you to spend money. he will draw this out, and your legal bills will rise, and he will sleep well at night.

Dude, you are not O.J. Simpson. You don’t need to spend money. Save it for when you’re indited for financial fraud. Just show up in court, and either ask for a public defender or defend yourself. This silly frovolous lawsuit hardly requires Johnny Cochran. And don’t make any shark lawyers any richer.
