The “new” IamFacing Foreclosure.com was created to protect and strengthen homeowners. Giving them the necessary tools they need to effectively stop foreclosure and save their home.

We feel that there is a huge need on the internet for a “safe” and “accurate” website where homeowners facing foreclosure can visit and find the information they need to deal with their lender.  There is a war being fought on the internet and it is currently being won by scam artists, loss mitigation predators and webmasters that are all trying to cash in on the foreclosure epidemic.

One of our goals is to have a massive internet presence in order to combat these predators and expose their scams

(1) the influence, accountability, and effectiveness of foreclosure prevention services such as legal aid, pro bono and for profit attorneys and nonprofits on the ineternet in a manner that builds their capacity and effectiveness to accomplish their missions and reach members of their communities and (2) the visibility, idealism, and value of legitimate foreclosure prevention services in helping Americans stop foreclosure legally and lawfully.

IamFacingForeclosure.com plans to be national leader on the internet in providing homeowner services, creating nationwide responses to the serious challenges facing all consumer advocate organizations in the war to protect homeowners.

We  advocate to protect and strengthen the consumer advocate, legal aid and nonprofit housing counseling sectors on the internet by being the central website/forum/blog to exchange ideas and information that will assist everyone in the fight to help people save their homes. By uniting as one we can continually influence laws and regulations that impact our country’s nonprofit and for profit sectors in the war to stop foreclosures.

All of IamFacingForeclosure.com’s advocacy work aims to create a website where homeowners can get the education and tools they need to safely avoid foreclosure. Our goal is to unite homeowners with consumer advocate attorneys and non-profits. Also a central place where everyone can meet, reduce communication problems and enhance their ability to fulfill their missions. Our advocacy will include efforts include partnerships with government, business and philanthropy, as well as within the nonprofit sector itself.

We think that 12 year old Trevor says it best. He describes it to his mother and teacher this way: “You see, I do something real good for three people. And then when they ask how they can pay it back, I say they have to Pay It Forward. To three more people. Each. So nine people get helped. Then those people have to do twenty-seven.” He turned on the calculator, punched in a few numbers. “Then it sort of spreads out, see. To eighty-one. Then two hundred forty-three. Then seven hundred twenty-nine. Then two thousand, one hundred eighty-seven. See how big it gets?”
