I have decided to add a restructure request letter in the payment and send a restructure request letter after the 16th of the month. Any suggestions are welcome! I just completed a short refi for a homeowner who needed a 55K principle reduction and we refinanced into an FHA 30 year fixed. The rate went from 10.25 to 6.25 saving the homeowner's house and $1600.00 per month! Here is one less home that will go to foreclosure and 1 less homeowner who can sleep tonight. Lenders are finally seeing the light and now they are doing short refinances.
